Job Summary

We are looking for an highly skilled PRP Coordinator to join our team here at Eastern Shore Psychological Services!

As a PRP Coordinator, he/she is responsible for administrative oversight of all PRP activities and direct management responsibilities of PRP team members. As a therapist is responsible for the delivery of appropriate therapeutic services, including individual, family, group therapy, and coordination of services, as well as, the documentation required for each client file. In accordance with the ESPS Mission Statement and Guiding principles, the PRP coordinator maintains a spirit of ‘Mission Driven Excellence’ in all aspects of their position.


Ensure the PRP team members promote efficient and effective services to the clients of ESPS, LLC

Serve as professional liaison between the PRP team members and the program staff (therapists, doctors, and administrative staff).

Assist in developing and promoting ESPS, LLC’s mission and goals through modeling professional and ethical behavior

Identify team member’s strengths and build upon them to reinforce success of PRP team members in assigned job duties and position within ESPS, LLC

Coordinate a working collaborative relationship between all team members; ESPS staff members, community agencies, and families.

Identify and facilitate training opportunities for team members

Coordinator will take on any additional cases that may not be assigned to PRP team members due to abundant referrals or time demands on team members.

Monitor productivity to ensure that agency costs remain within budget.Implement a spending account for PRP and allocate funds properly

Coordinate, review, and assign all PRP referrals. Assure the timely authorization of services

Conduct internal audits to ensure the accuracy of documentation and billing of PRP services and compliance with COMAR regulations

Facilitate weekly PRP team meetings

Ensure the timely submission of all statistics, progress reports, and treatment plans

Advocate for the safety needs for all PRP team members

Identify gaps in services and community resources that will assist the team in addressing the needs of clients

Enforce all agency policies and procedures with all team members

Assist in the hiring, training, evaluation, and termination of PRP team members.


Demonstrates ability to practice basic supportive skills and willingness to provide individual, family and group therapy.

Demonstrates positive professional regard for all patients and utilizes supervisory resources when necessary.

Engages clients in the therapeutic process as evidenced by patients’ satisfaction with treatment

Designs and implements clinically appropriate treatment plans utilizing the CARE-2 and other Evidenced Based Practice techniques to create goals that are individualized, observable, and measurable.

Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing

Maintains accurate documentation in client records that is in compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations and ESPS clinical standards.

Completes documentation required for billing including Preauthorization Requests within required timeframes.

Actively participates in clinical team meetings and other appropriate meetings as scheduled

Refers and coordinates client care with PRP, Psychiatric and Testing services

Demonstrates knowledge of cultural norms and self-awareness of values, biases and stereotypes.

Maintains knowledge and awareness of available community resources. Makes appropriate referrals for needed services and assists clients in accessing appropriate resources.

Maintains minimum productivity standard of 65% direct patient care

Willingness to attend trainings and workshops and to incorporate new skills into professional action.

Completes other duties as assigned


Education: Masters level Licensed Social Worker or equivalent, required

Experience: Have a minimum of 2 years direct practice experience in the human service field; PRP experience preferred

Licenses/Certifications: Must possess a valid driver’s license, provide documentation of auto insurance, and provide current driving record from the MVA, with no more than 2 points on the record.

CPR & 1st Aid Certification, preferred
