Eastern Shore Psychological Services is a private for Profit Limited Liability Corporation devoted to excellence in Mental Health Services for the Eastern Shore of Maryland and beyond

It is the mission of the Eastern Shore Psychological Services Programs to provide the most effective community, school and family based treatment and evaluation services that are:

• Based on available research
• Provided as early as possible
• Presented in a positive and supportive atmosphere designed to emphasize strengths
• Focused on maintaining the client in the least restrictive environment
• Provided in a comprehensive continuum of care that utilizes state of the art  assessment instruments to provide optimal information for meaningful treatment and risk-assessment
• Provided within a case management framework to coordinate community support, services and resources.
• Focused on working collaboratively with community agencies, mental health providers and providers from other disciplines to maximize the effectiveness of services while assuring efficient use of resources.

 History

Eastern Shore Psychological Services, LLC began in 1999 as a small company (5 staff members) in a tiny converted rancher on Ocean Gateway in Salisbury Maryland. In just a few short years we grew to over 85 employees in four different locations. For the most part, our growth resulted from meeting needs expressed by the community including:

• Transitioning several hundred patients in the Somerset County area to our program when a clinic closed there
• Opening an Intensive Outpatient/Transitional School Program on the Lower Shore
• Providing School Based Services in Talbot County
• Hosting the Healthy Families Lower Shore Program

 
We are a dedicated team of Mental Health Professionals and support staff working together to provide high quality services to the Mid and Lower Eastern Shore.
